Wichita, Kan. - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers and AHL's Bakersfield Condors, announced that forward Louick Marcotte has re-signed for the 2017-18 season.
Marcotte, 23, returns to Wichita to begin his third year as a pro. A native of Longueuil, Quebec, he led the team in goals (18), tied for second in assists (20) and tied for the team lead in points (38) in 2016-17. He set new career-highs in all three categories after spending his rookie season in Adirondack.

He registered 255 points (119g-136a) in 277 career games with his best season coming in 2013-14 when he was one of only five players that racked up 100 or more points (42g-58a). Marcotte was third in QMJHL postseason scoring that season, tallying 37 points (12g-25a) in 24 games en route to winning the league title.
