Glens Falls, N.Y. - The Adirondack Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced that they have re-signed forward Brian Ward for the 2017-18 season.
Ward scored at a point-per-game pace last season as he collected 49 points (27g-22a) from 49 games played with the Thunder. The Haverhill, Mass. native has also appeared in nine career AHL games, including eight last season with the Albany Devils, where he collected his first career AHL assist. Prior to beginning his professional career, Ward played three seasons of collegiate hockey at St. Lawrence University, where he amassed 70 points (27g-43a) over 112 games played. Ward led his team in scoring with 26 points (9g-17a) during the 2014-15 season and captained the team as a senior.
