Alberga returning for second season with Admirals

NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk Admirals, ECHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators, announced the re-signing of forward Domenic Alberga for the 2017-18 season.

Alberga, 25, dressed in 53 games with Norfolk in 2016-17, accumulating a career-high 29 points (12g-17a) and 53 penalty minutes. 

The native of Maple, Ontario split his rookie season of 2015-16 with Greenville, Wichita and Fort Wayne, combining for 23 points (9g-14a) in 56 games.

Prior to turning pro, Alberga spent two seasons at Ryerson University where he posted 75 points (36g-39a) in 53 games. He also suited up 259 games over four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with Brampton, Sarnia and Kitchener, recording 86 points (35g-51a).
