Crisp signs with Walleye

Toledo, Ohio – Forward Connor Crisp has agreed to terms with the Toledo Walleye for the 2017-18 season. Crisp, drafted in the third round of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Canadiens, joins the Walleye after spending last year with the Brampton Beast.

The Walleye are the ECHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League and the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League.

As part of the Canadiens' organization the last three years, Crisp has also appeared in the AHL with seven contests last year. Over his pro career, the Alliston, Ontario native has 106 career games played with 40 points (18g-22a) and 193 penalty minutes.

Prior to entering the professional ranks, Crisp spent four years in the Ontario Hockey League with Erie and Sudbury. In 184 contests, Crisp scored 97 points (55g-42a) to go along with 308 penalty minutes. The 23-year-old went for a career best 55 points (28g-27a) with Sudbury in 2013-14.
