Cincinnati, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the American Hockey League's Rochester Americans and the National Hockey League's Buffalo Sabres, have re-signed forward Brandon McNally for the 2017-18 season.
McNally was acquired via trade in late November from the Utah Grizzlies where he accounted for seven points (3g-4a) in 15 games. His offensive production continued with the Cyclones, totaling 27 points (13g-14a) in 51 games. McNally also had a six-game point streak (3g-3a) from Feb. 2-12, and led the Cyclones with 188 penalty minutes on the season.
In addition to the Cyclones, the Saugus, Mass. native has seen ECHL time with the Brampton Beast and Utah Grizzlies, totaling 35 points (16g-19a) in 73 games, along with 216 penalty minutes. He has also skated in 61 AHL games with the San Diego Gulls, Hamilton Bulldogs and St. John's Icecaps, recording 16 points (9g, 7a) and 41 penalty minutes.
Prior to turning pro in 2015, McNally was a four-year letter-winner at Dartmouth College where he racked up 65 points (31g-34a) in 105 career games.
