KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The Kalamazoo Wings, ECHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, have inked forward Justin Fox to contract for the 2017-18 season.

Fox, 30, has poured in points everywhere he’s played since turning pro in 2011 with the Hunstville Havoc of the Souther Professional Hockey League. Most recently, he spent two seasons with the Fife Flyers of the British Elite Ice Hockey League, where he tallied 97 points (41g-56a) over the course of 99 games played.

The native of Whitby, Ontario, has played with five teams in six leagues on three continents since his career began, including one full season in the ECHL with the Quad City Mallards during the 2014-15 campaign. In 71 ECHL games with the Mallards, the forward posted 58 points (23g-35a).

Throughout his professional career, Fox has amassed 329 points (146g-183a) in 351 games across the Australian Ice Hockey League (Perth, 2013-14), SPHL (Huntsville, 2011-14), Central Hockey League (Tulsa, 2012-13, Quad City, 2013-14), ECHL (Quad City, 2014-15), and EIHL (Fife, 2015-17).

Before turning pro, Fox excelled at the NCAA D-III ranks, playing two years at Salem State College, where he earned 74 points in 49 games, and two seasons at SUNY-Oswego, where he totaled 79 points in 55 games.
