WINDSOR, Colo. – The Colorado Eagles, ECHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced that they have re-signed forward Cam Maclise for the 2017-18 season.

Maclise notched six points (4g-2a) in 13 regular-season games after joining the Eagles as an amateur late last season. He went on to post 12 points (5g-7a) in 20 playoff games during the Eagles Kelly Cup championship run.

The 25-year-old signed with the Eagles last March, after completing a two-year career at Mount Royal University in Canada where he posted 56 points (27g-29a) in 56 total games with the Cougars. He finished second on the team with 13 goals and 27 points during his senior season, after posting 29 points (14g-15a) in his junior year. Maclise spent the 2014-15 season with the Lacombe Generals of the Chinook Hockey League, amassing 30 points (16g-14a) in 19 regular-season games, 14 points in nine playoff contests and capping off the season with an Allan Cup Championship. Maclise also attended the developmental camp of the Los Angeles Kings in 2013 and Tampa Bay Lightning in 2014.

Prior to jumping to the collegiate game, the Camrose, Alberta native spent one season in the Western Hockey League with the Edmonton Oil Kings, followed by three standout years in the Alberta Junior Hockey League with the Brooks Bandits. During his time with the Bandits, Maclise netted 216 points (85g-131a) in 171 games, winning the AJHL Championship twice (2012, 2013) and was named the AJHL MVP and the Canadian Junior Hockey League Player of the Year during the 2012-13 campaign.
