WINDSOR, Colo. – The Colorado Eagles, ECHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced that they have signed defenseman Collin Bowman for the 2017-18 season.
The Littleton, Colo. native returns for his fourth season with the Eagles, after spending the 2016-17 season with the Vienna Capitals of the EBEL. In 54 games with the Capitals, Bowman posted 26 points (6g-20a) and capped off the year with a league championship. The 26-year-old has appeared in 165 games with Colorado, generating 110 points (42g-68a) and playing at a combined +40. His play with the Eagles also earned him a spot on the 2014-15 ECHL All-Star Team.
Bowman has appeared in 33 AHL games with the Rochester Americans and Iowa Wild. During that time, he has collected nine points and 29 penalty minutes. He has also seen action in 66 additional ECHL contests with stops in San Francisco and Bakersfield during the 2013-14 season. His 110 points with Colorado are also good for fifth-most among Eagles defensemen in team history.
