Wichita agrees to terms with Makin

Wichita agrees to terms with Makin

Wichita, Kan. - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers and AHL's Bakersfield Condors, announced the signing of forward Taylor Makin. 

Makin, 25, turns pro after playing the last four years at Acadia University. A native of Blairmore, Alberta, he collected 19 points (6g-13a) and 147 penalty minutes in 71 career games for the Axemen.

Prior to his time in college, Makin spent three seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Prince George Cougars and Vancouver Giants. In 178 WHL games, Makin amassed 255 penalty minutes to go with 60 points (25g-35a).
