Rush re-sign Poulson

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Rush announced that forward Tyler Poulsen has re-signed for the 2019-20 season.

Poulsen joined the Rush last season in a trade  Allen Americans. He completed his first full professional campaign with the Rush, amassing 30 points (15g-15a) in 57 games.  Among the many highlights of his season were three multi-goal outings and eight multi-point nights, the latter of which saw him record a career-high 4 points (1g-3a) against the Americans in a 6-3 win on Dec. 5.

A native of Arvada, Colorado, Poulsen began his professional career in March 2018 with Allen, appearing in two games and recording his first professional goal on March 18 against the Colorado Eagles.  Prior to turning pro, he played 88 games of NCAA hockey with the University of Alabama-Huntsville, registering 38 points (15g-23a).
