CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced that defenseman Mitchell Wolfe has signed with the team ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Wolfe, 23, debuted with the Cyclones after concluding a four-year college career at Bemidji State University. Wolfe scored his first professional goal against the Kalamazoo Wings on April 18, 2026, in just his second career pro game. He spent most of last season as the alternate captain of the Beavers, recording seven points (2g-5a).

The Andover, Minnesota native finished his time with the Beavers logging 28 points (5g-23a) in 138 games. Before making his way to the Division I level, Wolfe started his junior career with Minnesota Wilderness of the North American Hockey League before spending the majority of his time with the United States Hockey League's Des Moines Buccaneers, where he spent two full seasons. His most productive season was in 2021-22, where he led the team in points by a defenseman with 23 points (7g-16a).
