PORTLAND, Maine – The Maine Mariners have signed defenseman Marc-Olivier Crevier-Morin to a contract for the 2018-19 season.
The Mariners are the ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League and the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.
Crevier-Morin has spent his first two professional seasons with the Wichita Thunder. As a rookie in 2017-18, he posted 19 points (2g-17a) in 68 games. This past season, he scored nine points (1g-8a) in 56 games.
Prior to turning pro, he played for four seasons with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s Gatineau Olympiques. Crevier-Morin was very productive offensively in his final two QMJHL seasons, with 40 points (11g-29a) between his 2015-16 and 16-17 campaigns. He served as captain in 2016-17 and led the team with 110 penalty minutes.
