Cincinnati, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones have signed forward Nate Mittonand defenseman Andrew DeBrincatto contracts for the 2019-20 season.
The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Buffalo Sabres and the American Hockey League's Rochester Americans.
Mitton skated in 32 games with the Cyclones in 2018-19, accounting for 13 points (5g-8a) along with 30 penalty minutes. A native of Kitchener, Ontario, Mitton split the 2017-18 season between the Utah Grizzlies and the Southern Professional Hockey League's Birmingham Bulls, appearing in 43 games between the two teams and totaling 17 points (8g-9a). Prior to turning pro, the 27-year-old played four seasons at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology where he amassed 29 points (9g-20a) in 102 career games.
Hailing from Farmington Hills, Michigan, DeBrincat appeared in 28 games for Cincinnati last season, totaling 13 points (3g-10a). He made his pro debut late in the 2017-18 season with the Indy Fuel and South Carolina Stingrays, and the SPHL's Fayetteville Marksmen. He accounted for five points (1g-4a) in nine games between the three teams. Prior to turning pro, the 26-year-old spent four years at American International College where he totaled 51 points (38g-48a) in 146 career games.
