Gladiators re-sign pair of defensemen

Gladiators re-sign pair of defensemen

Duluth, Ga. – The Atlanta Gladiators, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Boston Bruins, announced the team has re-signed defensemen Zach Malatesta and Jack Stander for the 2019-20 season.

Malatesta, who will begin his third season with the club, has 33 points (6g-27a) in 108 games with Atlanta Last season he played in in all 72 games totaling 22 points (5g-17a). 

Stander also appeared in all 72 games a year ago, posting 15 points (3g-12a) while also suiting up in one game with the American Hockey League's Syracuse Crunch. Prior to turning pro, Stander played four seasons at Canisius College where he had 29 points (6g-23a) in 137 career games.
