Growlers add rookie Jackman

ST. JOHN’S, Newfoundland – The Newfoundland Growlers, ECHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced that they have signed forward Reid Jackman to a contract for the 2019-20 season.

Jackman, 26, appeared in 12 games last season with the Fort Wayne Komets where he picked up five assists and recorded four penalty minutes.

Prior to joining the Komets, the Etobicoke, Ontario native finished a five-season stint playing with York University where he recorded 70 points (35g-35a) in 131 games. Jackman was named to the USports (OUA West) Second All-Star Team at the conclusion of the 2018-19 season.
