Nault inks new deal with Swamp Rabbits

GREENVILLE, S.C. —The Greenville Swamp Rabbits announced that they have re-signed forward Kamerin Nault for the 2019–20 season.

The Swamp Rabbits are the ECHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League and the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League.

The Winnipeg native joined Greenville after completing his collegiate career at the University of Manitoba. He posted 21 points (12g-9a) in his first 20 pro games and shot a blisteringly high 19.6% on the year, which led the team.

His accomplishments - including a hat trick, seven multi-point games and four multi-goal games - netted him a professional tryout with his hometown club, the Manitoba Moose of the AHL. In one game with Manitoba, he notched a multi-point game, including his first AHL goal, on April 9.
