INDIANAPOLIS – The Indy Fuel, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Chicago Blackhawks and the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs, announced that they have signed forward Thomas Ebbing to a contract for the 2020-21 season.

Ebbing, 25, signs with the Fuel after splitting the 2019-20 season with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits and Reading Royals. The native of Troy, Michigan has skated in 51 AHL games over two seasons with the Laval Rocket, registering six points (2g-4a) and 17 penalty minutes.

Prior to turning pro, Ebbing played four seasons at Michigan State where he earned 55 points (14g-41a) in 143 career games with the Spartans. Before attending Michigan State, Ebbing played one season for the Chicago Steel of the United States Hockey League where he scored 26 points (16g-10a), earning a spot in the 2012-13 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.
