Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans announced that the team has signed Jared Bethune for the 2022-23 season.
Bethune returns to the Americans after posting 17 points (8g-9a) and 57 penalty minutes in 61 games for the club in 2021-22.
He recorded five assists in nine games for the Americans in 2017-18 after concluding his junior career with the Western Hockey League's Prince George Cougars. He appeared in three games for the Americans in the 2020-21 season, while spending the rest of the year with Macon of the Southern Professional Hockey League.
