Former Cincinnati Cyclones' forward Justin Kirkland became the 731st former ECHL player to reach the National Hockey League when he debuted with the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday at Los Angeles.

Kirkland is the fourth former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2022-23 season. He recorded two points (1g-1a) in four games with the Cyclones during the 2016-17 season.

A third-round selection (62nd overall) of the Nashville Predators in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, Kirkland has posted 165 points (64g-101a) in 352 career games in the American Hockey League with San Diego, Stockton and Milwaukee.
