Fuel re-sign Chaika

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel announced today that they have re-signed defenseman Kirill Chaika to a contract for the 2023-24 season. 

Chaika, 26, skated in 60 games last season, recording a career-high 14 points (2g-12a). During the 2021-22 season, the Minsk, Belarus native played in 56 games with Indy, tallying 13 points (2g-11a). and 33 penalty minutes while sharing the team lead in plus/minus at +18. 

Prior to joining the Fuel, Chaika’s playing history includes playing for the U-20 Belarus National Team in 2016-17 and the SPHL’s Fayetteville Marksmen in 2017-18.
