Adirondack brings back Gillespie

GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – The Adirondack Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's New Jersey Devils and American Hockey League's Utica Comets, announced that the club has re-signed forward Mike Gillespie to a contract for the 2024-25 season.

Gillespie, 28, joined the Thunder last season and recorded 18 points (6g-12a) in 45 regular-season games. Before signing with Adirondack, the New City, New York native played two games with the SPHL’s Birmingham Bulls and had five points.

In 40 career regular-season games in the SPHL with Birmingham, Gillespie has 65 points (30g-35a).

Prior to his professional career, he played three years college hockey at SUNY-Oswego where he collected 74 points (23g-51a) in 76 games.
