Adirondack re-signs Friedmann, adds Fessenden

GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – The Adirondack Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's New Jersey Devils and American Hockey League's Utica Comets, announced that the club has re-signed forward T.J. Friedmann and signed goaltender David Fessenden to contracts for the 2024-25 season.

Friedmann, 26, recorded 10 points (6g-4a) in 26 games last season with Adirondack. The St. Louis, Missouri native also played in three games with Utica, adding two points (1g-1a).

Prior to his professional career, Friedmann played five seasons at Quinnipiac University, tallying 58 points (28g-30a) and capturing the NCAA National Championship in 2022-23 and three ECAC regular-season championships in a row.

Fessenden, 26, joins the Thunder after playing five years of college hockey at the University of Alabama-Huntsville, University of New Hampshire and Canisius College. The Parker, Colorado native played in 79 games collegiately and had a 2.98 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage and two shutouts.

Prior to college, Fessenden played 119 games in the North American Hockey League for the Bismarck Bobcats, Minnesota Magicians and Northeast Generals.
