Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Utah Hockey Club, announced the signing of forward Mark Duarte to a contract for the 2024-25 season.
Duarte joins the Americans for his second pro season, after splitting his rookie campaign with Rapid City and the American Hockey League's Calgary Wranglers. The 21-year-old recorded 24 points (14g-10a) in 36 games with the Rush while also skating in 15 games with Calgary.
Prior to his time in professional hockey, he played three seasons in the Ontario Hockey League, two of those seasons with the Hamilton Bulldogs, where he won an OHL championship in 2022.
