Gatcomb makes NHL debut

Gatcomb makes NHL debut

Former Kalamazoo Wings' forward Marc Gatcomb became the 758th former ECHL player to reach the National Hockey League when he debuted with the New York Islanders on Tuesday against Ottawa.

Gatcomb is the sixth former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2024-25 season. He had four points (1g-3a) in six games with the K-Wings during the 2022-23 season.

A native of Woburn, Massachusetts, Gatcomb has recorded 45 points (21g-24a) in 146 career American Hockey League games with Abbotsford and Bridgeport.
