Fensore makes NHL debut

Fensore makes NHL debut

Former Norfolk Admirals' defenseman Domenick Fensore became the 767th former ECHL player to reach the National Hockey League when he debuted with the Carolina Hurricanes on Wednesday against Montreal.

Fensore is the 15th former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2024-25 season. He made his pro debut with the Admirals during the 2023-24 season, recording 10 points (2g-8a) in nine games.

Selected by the Hurricanes in the third round (90th overall) of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, Fensore has tallied 48 points (11g-37a) in 105 career American Hockey League games with Chicago.
