Knight Monsters bring back McGrew

STATELINE, Nev. – The Tahoe Knight Monsters, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vegas Golden Knights and the American Hockey League’s Henderson Silver Knights, announced that the team has agreed to terms with forward Jake McGrew for the 2025-26 season.    

McGrew returns for a second season after posting 42 points (19g-23a) in 70 games played with the Knight Monsters last season. In addition, he recorded a goal in eight playoff appearances.    

McGrew has totaled 56 points (28g-28a) in 84 career ECHL games with the Knight Monsters, Orlando and Allen. The 26-year-old also brings 84 games of AHL experience, posting 30 points (16g-14a) in two seasons with the San Jose Barracuda. 

Prior to Tahoe, McGrew played two seasons overseas in the top Swedish league (HockeyAllsvenskan) with AIK and Vasterviks IK.
