Seeley makes NHL debut

Seeley makes NHL debut

Former Norfolk Admirals' defenseman Ronan Seeley became the 781st former ECHL player to reach the National Hockey League when he debuted with the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday at the New York Islanders.

Seeley is the 13th former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2025-26 season. He had three assists in 11 games with the Admirals during the 2023-24 season.

A seventh-round selection (208th overall) of the Hurricanes in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, Seeley has totaled 71 points (19g-52a) in 264 career games with Chicago of the American Hockey League.
