Goatheads add Drevitch

RIO RANCHO, N.M. - The New Mexico Goatheads, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Colorado Avalanche and American Hockey League’s Colorado Eagles, announced that the team has signed veteran forward Tyler Drevitch to a contract for the 2026-27 season.

Drevitch joins New Mexico with six seasons of ECHL experience, most recently appearing in 47 games with the Orlando Solar Bears during the 2025-26 season.

The 31-year-old has appeared in 297 career ECHL regular-season games with Orlando, Atlanta, Maine, Wheeling and Wichita, recording 90 points (43g-47a) and 596 penalty minutes.

Drevitch enjoyed his most productive professional season with the Nailers in 2022-23, setting career highs with 18 goals, 15 assists and 33 points while appearing in all 72 regular-season games. He followed that performance with 28 points (10g-18a) and a +11 rating in 70 games with the Maine Mariners in 2023-24.

Prior to turning professional, Drevitch played four seasons at Merrimack College, appearing in 94 career games and serving as team captain during his senior season in 2019-20.
