TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo Walleye have agreed to terms with forward Scott Docherty for the 2026-27 season, his second ECHL season and first with Toledo.
Docherty split the 2025-26 season between South Carolina and Columbus of the FPHL, while also skating in one game for Hazelton of the CIHL. He picked up one assist and 31 penalty minutes over 12 games for the Stingrays. Additionally, he posted 11 points (2g-9a) and 22 penalty minutes in 21 games for the River Dragons, the same club he made his American hockey debut with in 2024-25, adding 16 points (8g-8a), 103 penalty minutes, and a +9 in 47 games to his resumé.
He appeared in three collegiate seasons with SUNY-Cortland, accumulating 10 points (6g-4a) and 29 penalty minutes in 43 games. Following his collegiate career, he joined the CIHL’s Hazelton Wolverines, racking up 33 points (12g-21a) and 50 penalty minutes in 19 games over parts of three seasons.
