GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – The Adirondack Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s New Jersey Devils and American Hockey League’s Utica Comets, announced that the club has signed defenseman Jordan Klimek to a contract for the 2026-27 season.
Klimek played the last two seasons with the South Carolina Stingrays and recorded 14 points (8g-6a) in 74 games with a +22 rating. Prior to returning to South Carolina, the Langley, British Columbia native played three seasons overseas in Hungary and Great Britain where he totaled 51 points (11g-40a) in 141 games.
The 31-year-old has 50 points (23g-27a) in 210 ECHL games with Kansas City and South Carolina. Prior to his professional career, Klimek played for four years at Northern Michigan University and served as the team’s alternate captain during the 2017-18 campaign.
