KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo Wings, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks, announced that the team has signed forward Zach Urdahl to a contract for the 2026-27 season.
Urdahl, 24, enters his second professional season after spliting time last season with the Wheeling Nailers and American Hockey League's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. He combined to score 20 points (12g-8a) in 52 games between the two clubs.
Prior to turning pro, the Eau Claire, Wisconsin native played four years of collegiate hockey between the University of Wisconsin (2021-23) and the University of Nebraska-Omaha (2023-25). In total, Urdahl scored 65 points (35g-30a) across 137 career NCAA games.
