PORTLAND, Maine – The Maine Mariners, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Boston Bruins and American Hockey League's Providence Bruins, have re-signed forward Jackson Stewart to a contract for the 2026-27 season.
A native of Norwood, Ontario, Stewart first came to the Mariners from the Bloomington Bison in a February 2025 trade. Re-signing for the 2025-26 season, Stewart appeared in 14 games, registering his first two pro assists. He’s skated in 24 games as a Mariner and 41 in his ECHL career.
In juniors, Stewart played three seasons in the Ontario Hockey League for the Kingston Frontenacs and Owen Sound Attack. He’s a second-generation pro, with his father, Dave Stewart playing 260 career ECHL games, prominently for the Roanoke Express, from 1994-98.
