WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's San Jose Sharks and American Hockey League's San Jose Barracuda, announced the signing of forward Brayden Nicholetts for the 2026-27 season.
Nicholetts, 27, is entering his second season as a pro. The Spruce Grove, Alberta native turned pro at the end of his college career in 2024-25 and appeared in 16 games for the Utah Grizzlies. Last season, he played in 10 games for the Norfolk Admirals.
Prior to turning pro, Nicholetts played four seasons of college hockey at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks where he he tallied 16 points (8g-8a) in 67 games.
