Railers sign Donhauser, Campagna

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester Railers Hockey Club, ECHL affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, announced that the club has signed forwards Cole Donhauser and JC Campagna to contracts for the 2026-27 season.

Donhauser, 26, comes to Worcester for his third professional season. The Railers first signed Donhauser to his first full rookie season in 2024-25 following 21 games split between the Idaho Steelheads and Greenville Swamp Rabbits, and the Elite Ice Hockey League's Coventry Blaze in 2023-24.

During the 2025-26 season with the Railers, Donhauser recorded 27 points in 68 games, finishing tied for third in games played for the team. As a rookie during the 2024-25 campaign, he played in 71 games for Worcester, which was tied for third-most on the team. He had 29 points (10g-19a) in the 2024-25 season along with 92 penalty minutes. Donhauser led all rookies in the ECHL in shorthanded points with five (2g-3a) and his three assists were first among rookies as well.

Campagna, 33, signs in Worcester for his 10th professional season. The Dallas, Texas native appeared at Worcester Railers training camp ahead of the 2025-26 season before playing in three games for the Utah Grizzlies, where he recorded one assist.

He has played in 214 games in the ECHL across nine seasons with 10 different teams, notching 147 points (77g-70a) along with 151 penalty minutes. Campagna spent parts of the past two seasons in Europe, playing for HC Presov of Slovakia, EHC Freiburg of DEL2, and HC 19 Humenné of Slovakia2.
