Brampton's Chaulk heads to AHL

BRAMPTON, ONTARIO - The Brampton Beast announced that Head Coach Colin Chaulk has been named an assistant coach with the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Belleville Senators.

Chaulk led the Beast to a 127-125-6 record in four seasons as the team's head coach, while advancing to the Kelly Cup Playoffs in 2017 and 2019.

Prior to joining Brampton, Chaulk spent the previous two seasons as an assistant coach with the Kalamazoo Wings, helping the club to a pair of berths in the Kelly Cup Playoffs, as well as the 2014 North Division title. Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Chaulk enjoyed a 15-year pro career in the ECHL, Central Hockey League, International Hockey League, American Hockey League, United Hockey League, West Coast Hockey League and Western Professional Hockey League, as well as parts of two seasons in Italy. He scored 1,270 points (368g-902a) over the course of his 1,142 career games, and was a part of five championshuip squads with the Fort Wayne Komets (2003, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012).
