ECHL announces fines, suspensions

ECHL announces fines, suspensions

The ECHL on Thursday announced the following fines and suspensions.

South Carolina’s Perrier suspended

South Carolina’s Marcus Perrier has been suspended for three additional games as a result of his actions in ECHL Playoff Game #D-3, Greenville at South Carolina, on April 17.

Perrier is suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions at 10:58 of the third period.

Perrier missed South Carolina’s playoff game against Greenville on April 18 and will miss the team’s next three games.

Greenville’s Skapski fined, suspended

Greenville’s Mackenzie Skapski has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Playoff Game #D-4, Greenville at South Carolina, on April 18.

Skapski is fined and suspended as a result of an unpenalized game misconduct under Rule #53.4 at 18:02 of the third period.

Skapski will miss Greenville’s playoff game against South Carolina on April 21.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

Allen’s Moore fined, suspended

Allen’s Bryan Moore has been suspended for four games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Playoff Game #G-3, Allen at Utah, on April 19.

Moore was assessed a match penalty for cross-checking under Rule #59.4 at 18:40 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Disciplone.

Moore will miss Allen’s next four games.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

Colorado’s Zimmerman fined, suspended

Colorado’s Sean Zimmerman has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Playoff Game #H-3, Colorado at Idaho, on April 19.

Zimmerman is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of a charging incident at 15:32 of the second period.

Zimmerman will miss Colorado’s next three games.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
