ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades are proud to announce that Chris Scodder is the team’s four-millionth fan. Scodder was recognized prior to the Saturday, April 1 game against the Kalamazoo Wings at Germain Arena.
Accompanying Scodder were Yolanda Vasquez, as well as Dori and Tracy Crowell. Scodder and his group were honored with confetti, a banner dropping, live interview, and a special “4 millionth Fan” Everblades jersey to mark the milestone.
Scodder also received the opportunity to drop the ceremonial puck prior to the game, while he and his group watched the Everblades skate to a 5-3 victory from the luxury suites.
The Florida Everblades would like to thank Chris Scodder as well as all fans, businesses, and corporate partners for their support throughout all 19 seasons of Everblades hockey.
“Honoring our four-millionth fan on a night in which we had a sellout crowd on hand, added to what was a successful and fun night for the organization as a whole,” said Everblades Vice President of Business Development Chris Palin. “It seems like yesterday we recognized our three-millionth fan, and we are so grateful for the loyal support the team has received over the years from the Southwest Florida community.”
On Feb. 4, 2012 the Everblades honored Jenna Bender as the three-millionth fan in team history.
