Levine named CCM/ECHL Goaltender of the Week

Eric Levine of the Indy Fuel is the CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week for March 27-April 2. It is the second time in his career that he has received the weekly honor.

Levine went 2-0-0 with a 1.44 goals-against average and a save percentage of .958 in three appearances last week.

The 28-year-old stopped 32 shots in a 4-1 win against Toledo on Friday and made 37 saves in a 3-2 victory against Cincinnati on Sunday.

A native of Wheeling, Ill, Levine is 5-19-2 with a 3.70 goals-against average and a save percentage of .902 in 28 appearances this season.

Under an American Hockey League contract with Rockford, Levine has seen action in 57 career ECHL games with Indy, Utah, Colorado and Fort Wayne posting an overall record of 19-28-3 with four shutouts, a 3.19 goals-against average and a save percentage of .905.

Prior to turning pro, Levine appeared in 72 career games at Robert Morris University with a record of 25-22-11 with five shutouts, a 2.90 goals-against average and a save percentage of .925.

Runners Up: Pat Nagle, Fort Wayne (3-0-0, 2.00 GAA, .913 save pct.) and Kevin Boyle, Utah (3-0-0, 2.00 GAA, .933 save pct.).
