Walleye host K-Wings in Game 7

The Toledo Walleye host the Kalamazoo Wings tonight with a spot in the Central Division Finals against Fort Wayne on the line. The 39th Game 7 in ECHL postseason history, and the 15th over the last three playoff seasons, faces off at 7:35 p.m. ET at Huntington Center and you can catch all of the action LIVE on ECHL.TV.

Kalamazoo forced the decisive game with a 4-3 win on Sunday. The K-Wings reeled off four consecutive goals after falling behind 2-0 in the first six minutes of the game. The home team has won each of the first six games in the series.

While this is Kalamazoo's first-ever ECHL Game 7, Toledo is appearing in a seventh game for the fifth consecutive series. The Walleye defeated Wheeling and Fort Wayne in the 2015 Kelly Cup Playoffs before falling in double overtime to South Carolina in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Last season, Toledo dropped a Game 7 decision to Reading in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Tonight is the 39th Game 7 all-time in ECHL postseason history. The home team is 27-11 all-time in ECHL Game 7s and has won 14 of the last 18 Game 7s.
