Manchester forced the decisive game with a 5-1 win on Monday. The Stingrays had won three straight games in the series before the Monarchs' victory last night. South Carolina is 4-2 all-time in Game 7s, picking up wins over Adirondack in the 2016 Eastern Conference Semifinals, Reading in the 2015 East Division Semifinals and Alaska in the 2009 Kelly Cup Finals while falling to Allen in the 2015 Kelly Cup Finals.
Wednesday's game is the 41st Game 7 all-time in ECHL postseason history. The home team is 29-11 all-time in ECHL Game 7s and has won 16 of the last 20 Game 7s.
