The ECHL on Monday announced that Florida’s Mitchell Heard has been suspended for one game as a result of his actions in ECHL Playoff Game #J-2, South Carolina at Florida, on April 29.

Heard is suspended under Rule #46.21 as a result of receiving his second penalty for instigating during the playoffs.

Heard will miss Florida’s playoff game at South Carolina tonight (May 1).
