Greenville, S.C. – The Greenville Swamp Rabbits, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's New York Rangers and the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack, announced that forward Nick Betz has signed on for the upcoming 2017-18 season.

Betz is the first player signed by the Swamp Rabbits this offseason and returns to the club after finishing the second half of the season in Greenville. The 21-year-old collected six points (4g-2a) in 24 ECHL games. After making his professional debut with the Indy Fuel on Jan. 8, Betz was acquired by the Swamp Rabbits along with forward Tristan King.
