The ECHL on Friday announced that Kalamazoo’s Ben Wilson has been suspended for a total of 20 games stemming from an incident that occurred during ECHL Playoff Game #E-2, Kalamazoo at Toledo, on April 15.

Wilson was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for cross checking under Rule #59.5 at 13:29 of the first period. He is suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.

Wilson missed the final five games of Kalamazoo’s Central Division Semifinals series against Toledo, and will miss the first 15 games of the 2017-18 regular season.
