Henry heads back to Beast's blue line

BRAMPTON, Ontario - The Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, announced the club has re-signed defenseman Jordan Henry for the 2017-18 season.

The 31-year-old is coming off what could be considered the best season of his entire career. The Milo, Alberta native set new professional career milestones in all offensive categories, including goals (17), assists (21) and points (38).

During the club's impressive playoff run, Henry led the club in assists (4) and points (9) and scored the first ever postseason overtime game-winning goal in Game 2 of the North Division Semifinals against the Reading Royals on April 15.

Henry ranks as the club's all-time leader in goals scored by a defenseman (23) and points by a defenseman (57).
