Western Conference Finals to be decided in Game 7

A spot in the 2018 Kelly Cup Finals is on the line tonight when the Colorado Eagles host the Fort Wayne Komets in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals. The 43rd Game 7 in ECHL postseason history, and the 19th over the last four playoff seasons, faces off at 7:05 p.m. MT and you can catch all of the action LIVE on ECHL.TV.

Fort Wayne forced the deciding game with a 3-2 win at Colorado on Tuesday.

The Eagles are playing in their second Game 7. In their only other previous Game 7 situation, Colorado fell on home ice to Ontario in the 2015 Pacific Division Semifinals.

The Komets are 1-1 in their previous two Game 7s, falling at Toledo in the 2015 North Division Finals and defeating Cincinnati in the 2016 Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Wednesday's game is the 43rd Game 7 all-time in ECHL postseason history. The home team is 30-12 all-time in ECHL Game 7s and has won 17 of the last 22 Game 7s, however, the road team has won three of the last four Game 7s in the Conference Finals.
