Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans announced that the team has signed forward Chad Butcher for the 2018-19 season.
Butcher played a combined 63 games last season as a rookie with the Wichita Thunder and the American Hockey League's Bakersfield Condors. He recorded 35 points (10g-25a) in 56 games with the Thunder.
A native of Kamloops, British Columbia, Butcher played his junior hockey with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League. His best numbers came in 2016-17, when he had 103 points (27g-73a) in 68 games.
