Defenseman Chuard re-signs with Admirals

Norfolk, Va. – The Norfolk Admirals, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Arizona Coyotes, have agreed to terms with defenseman Romain Chuard for the 2018-19 season.

The Swiss-born defenseman appeared in 23 games for the Admirals last season after joining the team in February. Chuard notched a pair of points (1g-1a) over the span and added 26 penalty minutes.

Before joining the Admirals, Chuard played 74 professional games in his native Switzerland, including 42 games in the National League A, Switzerland’s top league, with hometown Geneve-Servette HC. Last season the blue-liner recorded eight points (4g-4a) in 17 games with HC Sion-Nendaz 4 Vallées in the Swiss third-tier.
