Defenseman Nemcik re-signs with Monarchs

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and General Manager Doug Christiansen announced that the team has re-signed Martin Nemcik for the 2018-19 season.

The Monarchs are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Los Angeles Kings and the American Hockey League's Ontario Reign.

Nemcik, 25, returns to Manchester having played in 57 games for the Monarchs during the 2017-18 campaign. Nemcik lead the Monarchs with 117 penalty minutes and added 18 points (1g-17a).

The native of Bratislava, Slovakia, has played three seasons and 161 games in the ECHL between the Wichita Thunder, Utah Grizzlies and the Monarchs. During the past three years, he has racked up 38 points (6g-32a) to go along with 298 penalty minutes.
