ESTERO, Fla. – Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced that the team has agreed to terms with forward Blake Winiecki for the 2018-19 season.

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League and the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League.

Winiecki collected two assists in four appearances with the Everblades this past spring.  The 24-year-old joined the Everblades in late March after recording 16 points (8g-8a) in 34 games played during his senior campaign at St. Cloud State University.  Winiecki totaled a balanced 75 points (37g-38a) during his four-year collegiate career with the Huskies. The Lakeview, Minnesota native also registered 69 points in two seasons with the United States Hockey League’s Waterloo Black Hawks.
