Greenville, S.C. –The Greenville Swamp Rabbits announced that forward Timmy Moore has signed with the team for the 2018-19 season.
The rookie skater played in seven ECHL games at the end of the 2017-18 regular season after completing a four-year stint at Robert Morris University. Moore, 24, made his pro debut with the Swamp Rabbits on March 24 against the Jacksonville Icemen, playing the final seven games of the season with the club.
His first taste of pro experience came after completing fourth NCAA season at Robert Morris. Moore achieved career bests in points assists and games played during his senior season. The alternate captain of the Colonials did not miss a single game and was fourth on the team in scoring with 36 points (13g-23a). The Grosse Point, Michigan native tallied a team leading four game-winning goals as a senior. As a junior, his 15 goals were third best on the roster and again ranked among the team’s top five scorers with 25 points (15g-10a). at the collegiate level, Moore posted 76 points (36g-40a) in 136 games at Robert Morris. In the past three seasons, he missed just one game and helped his program to a pair of conference championships.
Before enrolling at Robert Morris, Moore played his junior hockey for the Amarillo Bulls (NAHL) and Pembroke Lumber Kings (CCHL).
